They installed a required backflow for our irrigation system. he showed up when he said he was going to be there to give us an estimate. the estimate was more than fair, especially since i had asked for them to put it closer to the house instead of right next to the meter. he was polite and professional. he scheduled the work to be done by the end of the week and they arrived to do it when scheduled. if you are looking for this type of work i suggest you get an estimate from this company. they were great to work with and did the job right and the price was very reasonable.

A-1 did a great job sodding our back yard. the management and workers are very professional and did above and beyond what we originally asked for. they cleared and sodded our entire backyard, and cleared and sodded patches in our front yard left by removed trees. they have very good rates and completed the whole job in just a few hours. i definitely recommend them!

Installed sod in our back yard. great customer service. superb results. friendly folks. a-1 came recommended to me. i would highly recommend them to you.

Based soley on my experience thus far:

we have a brandnew home that a1 laid the sprinkler system and sod for. landscaping was fine considering it was all complete before we initially saw it and purchased it.

most of their business is this type of work, turn and burn homes, never look back. trying to get a1 back out to do warranty repair was an act of congress. to make matters worse, they agreed to finally come out, but blew us off twice.

i would advise against this company, unless you feel you are the type of person who is willing to pester and babysit.

5 stars for quality of sprinkler work (good work), -3 stars for unprofessional attitude and disrespect.

I contacted a-1 about a month before having my pool installed to request a quote for getting my irrigation system capped off. was told that the person that does the quotes would be out of town ok great! i waited and never heard back the following week as i was told so i called again. i explained what i needed and the time frame that it needed to get done in. was told that someone would call. a guy did call and left a message while i was at work i attempted to call back numerous times but his voicemail was not set up to receive messages! i called again and let the nice young lady that answered know that i could not get back in contact with the guy or leave a message. she was going to let him know to contact me. my husband then called one evening assuming that the number this guy called us from was a business phone and he was intending to leave a message hoping that the voicemail had been set up by now. the guy matt answered the phone and my husband immediately apologized for calling so late (again we were assuming this is a business line) my husband began to explain to him what we needed and at this point it's an emergency because they were going to start digging the following week and this man hangs up the phone on him! my husband leaves a bad review on google and lo and behold someone from a-1 tries to contact us. i receive a message on my phone stating that someone stopped by the house and no one was home. so i check my ring! of course there was absolutely no activity. the receptionist then says oh they didn't ring the doorbell they were in the driveway ok my ring goes off with any activity in the driveway area as well so my guess is they passed by didn't see any vehicles in the driveway and just drove off and said they tried. even after all that i was still hopeful that someone can come out and they said that someone can be there on wednesday, well that would be too late since they were to begin digging on monday so i told her disregard.
i did all this dancing around waiting on this company because they seemed reputable and had pretty decent ratings online. not to mention they were the ones contracted to install my irrigation system when my home was built so i figured they would get the job done. boy was i wrong i would avoid a headache and just look for a more professional company one that values return customers and are honest. if they were too busy or unable to do the job in the time i needed i think that it would have been too easy to let me know that on my initial call so that i can make other arrangements but i didn't even get that courtesy! just another money hungry company so beware!

I wish i had the opportunity to review their work, but they didn’t afford me that opportunity. i called to have an estimator come out for a few things i needed done and was told the estimator would be out the week after next. i waited and never heard back, called back and was told they’re now running 4-6 weeks behind. i don’t know why that wasn’t said on the original call so i could plan accordingly.

I recently contacted a employee named matt who hung the phone up in my face while i was asking about the removal of my irrigation system. we have been trying to get a hold on him since may 8, 2021. completely unprofessional and rude. if this company's employees are trained in this fashion, then the company needs to be dismantled and regulated by leadership that can lead and train properly. such a disgrace!
