We ordered a burrito, taco and bowl of carne asada (steak) I asked what cut of meat the steak was and I was told it was ribeye (I didn’t expect ribeye however the cook assured me) . This definitely was not it, instead it was a precooked days in advance and warmed up cheap piece of meat. The salsas tasted like tomato sauce, …. Etc. Chipotle is a few classes above this. They got a nice bar and a spacious place but the food is disappointing.

Pretty good Birria tacos

Jake’s is a nice place with good food. We hade a large party and they were able to accommodate us as well as regular customers. You order your food, pick it up, pay and sit down and enjoy. I had the two tacos and black beans. You also get homemade chips to top it off. It’s close to the beach but just far enough where the traffic doesn’t get in the way. It’s a nice gem of a place.
