Visit date: 03/30 @ 7:30pm. Visiting from out of town. It’s a spring break week. Beach and area is packed. I understand restaurants are getting hit hard. But, I feel like this establishment was either severely understaffed or just not well organized as a team. We arrived around 7:30. There were several tables on the patio clean and open- but the front door greeter said that the patio was full. I am guessing this was due to not having enough staff to cover that section. Although, I did also notice that they stopped seating the patio all together after we arrived. Perhaps this was to close down the patio to slow down walk in traffic? I could not think of another reason why they would not want to sit the patio- it’s free marketing on spring break. We were greeted by our server, nice guy, little cheesy, not too genuine, you could tell he was going through the motions dealing with spring break crowds. Im sure it’s draining to work with these crowds every shift. But, part of the job is hospitality, and providing a memorable experience. Our experience was all over the place. I ordered the cocktail shrimp- it was the best item delivered to our table. Huge shrimp, perfectly cooked and seasoned! The rest was mediocre at best. We ordered the chips/salsa/guacamole……..server came back later and said they were out. Tried to upsale me on a few other items. I declined. Food came out in about 25 minutes. Wife had the turkey burger (no bun)- minimal flavor and dry. The side of vegetables tasted like an IQF vegetable medley from Sysco/GFS/etc. Bland. My son ordered the popcorn shrimp and fries. They delivered grilled shrimp, so he waited for them to cook the fried popcorn shrimp. (The server showed me his tablet and what he had sent to the kitchen, to prove that he had not messed up the order…….showing me that it was the kitchen’s fault———it takes a team to run a restaurant, I thought it was inappropriate to throw the kitchen under the bus, no need to show me what failed…..just correct it asap.). Fries and shrimp were greasy. Not much flavor. When the total bill was delivered on the servers portable POS device, he put it straight on the final payment screen for me to select a tip and sign (approx. $136.00). I asked to see an itemized copy to double check total. Kids meal was charged twice, the chips and salsa (that they were out of) was also on the bill. When I pointed this out, the server corrected it. (Approx. $115). I reluctantly tipped 18% and we left. The location has tons of potential. But, definitely missed the mark on our visit. I’m hoping it was due to an understaffed team on a Monday night. If not, this concept has some work to do in several different areas of operations.

What an awesome place so chill. This place is awesome. I brought all my friends today to see Aj again. He was busy but made plenty of time to make us laugh. We had burgers and drinks they were to die for. I will be coming back again tomorow!!

I had the most wonderful time. I came in with a few friends.The host was very nice. Aj was extremely charming. I ordered the unlimited crab special it was sooooo tasty. I will be coming back this week just to try the experience again
