I contacted Greater Bay Area Tree Service online on Sunday. Monday they called me about the palm tree I needed to be trimmed or removed. They explained this tree would grow 1 foot year so probably best to remove. (this palm is too close to my home so I am not attached to it) They came today with a huge team & efficiently cut it down and carried away the parts. The area was left cleared out so I am very happy with their service.

It took us a while to get scheduled, but the tree trimming service and work were very much worth the wait. Price was very competitive. We're very pleased and will be repeat customers.

Although they were removing a tree on property next door to my home, I was paying 1/3 of the bill. Only the homeowner was treated as a customer. Near the end of the job, their crane dropped a very large section of the tree into my yard, destroying a small tree and other vegetation (100% crane operator error). The man on the saw was very aware of the damage and responded positively when asked if he would report the incident to the crew leader. There was no attempt by the crew to access my yard to clean cuttings from the tree removal or to assess the damage to my plantings. I had to hire someone to haul the trash they dropped into my yard. I paid my portion of the bill without hesitation, expecting to hear from their supervisor before they pulled out. I understand that “stuff happens” and all they needed to do was acknowledge the damage. Two minutes of the supervisors time would have made this a positive review. Beware of Greater Bay Area Tree and Crane Service.
