Intuitive Mind changed my life. May of 2025 I was diagnosed with Borderline Personality Disorder. After a year of therapy I was still not seeing the progress I wanted to see. I wanted a change. A real change. My whole life I had been skeptical of psychiatry due to the fear of not being able to afford it or getting addicted forever and not being myself anymore. After my first session with Lydia, I had hope. She walked me through all the details and answered all my questions about my fears in psychiatry. One thing that set her apart however, is her dedication to getting her patients the most affordable option in medication at the pharmacy. I pay less than 2 dollars with insurance on these medications that have absolutely changed my life. I have a joy again I have not had in a long time, with virtually no side effects. While this is a unique circumstance, I fully trust Lydia to do what's best for her patients and find what works for them. She has assured me many times if we were to ever need to change it would be easy and at my discretion. Intuitive Mind Behavioral health has helped my relationships, my mental health, and my performance in my day to day life by helping me find a tool to better me.

Great appointment, makes me feel heard and listens to what my goals and issues are. Makes me feel not crazy for how im feeling and offers different perspectives on what might help. Doesnt just throw pills at the problem. She wants to actually find the issues and resolve them.

I have managed anxiety linked to to autoimmune flareups for roughly 10 years on and off. Lydia is patient first and has an investigative mindset to get to the root causes of any illness. I feel truly blessed and validated to have worked with her over the last year to get to the root causes of my autoimmune flareups that in turn is created anxiety as a symptom. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking answers and long term solutions.

Amazing Experience! My psychiatrist is absolutely amazing — she actually listens to me and makes me feel truly heard and understood. It’s such a relief to talk to someone who cares and takes the time to understand what I’m going through. Every session feels supportive, comfortable, and genuine. Lydia provides sublime clinical care and is consistently going out of her way to make sure the patient feels heard and understood! If you are in the New Braunfels, TX area she has a cozy office set-up available for in-person visits, I highly recommend!

I will reinforce the other 1 star review. Pros: Intelligent, good listerner Cons: She pays for a receptionist call center. She should ask for a refund. They are horrible. Three sessions in, pouring out my deepest and darkest secrets, she says "I don't do counseling, I just prescribe medication. " Well, apparently, she doesn't do that either. Prescriptions are never ordered or refilled. I have to call every time. No communication. What do u actually do behind that desk?

She listens! Been so hard for me to find a good psychiatrist that cares, listens and actually wants to help their patient. I have gone in just once and i’m already excited to see her again.

Lack of patient care, poor communication to patient, pharmacy, and insurance company. Leaves the situation lying stagnant. Even after multiple attempts are made to communicate the issues at hand, Lydia and her staff seem to lack the initiative of effort for patient care.
