What an all around great experience! This group was well organized, efficient, and helpful! I started my experience with winning a couple of items in an online auction, which went very smoothly, and then attended an in person estate sale, which was, by the way, also one of the most thorough and pleasant events of this kind that I have ever attended. There was a very logical pick up situation where each winning bidder used an online calendar to choose a time a slot to arrive in, and when I showed up, my items were already put aside and ready for me to inspect, sign for, and take. I was greeted by numerous attendants and offered assistance more than once. The in-person sale was incredibly easy to navigate with everything organized and stickered with colored dots to represent different costs. There were visible price lists scattered throughout the large property, which made expectations crystal clear. Refreshingly, there was none of the typical ‘ try and find someone who’s working and available, ask them to give/find you a price, and then negotiate’ behavior. If I had a question, there was always someone around to assist. On more than one occasion I overheard team members being taken advantage of by other shoppers (you know the ones 😑) and each time they reacted with calm, and positive attitudes; always noting that they were not only there to help us, but to do good by the host family and treat everyone fairly. When I went to pay for my finds, they had already started a pile for me and had it all written up line-item style so that I could see everything clearly. They even offered me a bundle discount for my large purchase! When it came time to pack the car, again they were there offering to carry things and saying thank you for coming. Ultimately, I was unable to fit in two larger chairs in my sedan and was met with ‘no problem, when do you think you can you come back for them?’, and an effort to accommodate ME. Talk about customer service in a situation where you typically go in not expecting very much! I would not hesitate to use their other services if the need arises, because it was clear from my experience that they could handle every aspect. With so many ES companies out there now, of vastly different levels of competency, I will definitely make sure to look for them specifically in the future.

We moved my FIL into Assisted Living, it was a partial move. Jerry (the owner) came to the house to view the items to move and we talked through the whole process. Jerry was very personable and knowledgeable which made for an easy decision to choose Caring Transitions of Milford as our movers. Day of move, he and the team arrived on time and immediately got to work. The team were friendly, helpful, caring and careful with all items. Once at the new location, the team did an amazing job putting everything in the right location, even helped me make the bed. They went above an beyond in their customer service and the pricing was just right.

This service is fantastic. Downsizing and moving is so overwhelming but Carrie and her team really make it look easy. They do a great job packing moving and caring for your belongings. Highly recommended!
