When we were looking for a place to host our special day, we toured many placed. When we toured FIVE Event Center on Bryant Ave in Uptown we knew it was the place the minute we walked in. The mix of modern design and natural woodwork with exposed brick. It was perfect. Then we meet the individuals who assist with planning our big day and making sure it was perfect and they were wonderful. From the first walk through, checking in while it was planning, the follow up and outstanding communication all the way to the final walk through. We had one point of contact, Christina who was always available to answer any questions we had, gave suggestions and allowed us to bounce ideas off her to make sure the day was perfect. Having the cater working seamless with the event center was perfect, the food was great, all the staff was very pleasant. I could not think of a better place to start my life together with my husband. Thanks Christina and everyone at FIVE Event Center, for making our special day, absolutely lovely and stress free.

The Five Event Center is such a special venue. The place felt very cozy and was already decorated enough! I had about 150 guests come to my wedding and there was still room for more. The main level has an awesome bar area where guests can socialize. There's even high top tables too! With the expansion area, there are couches with tables that your guests can stay during the cocktail hour, and these couches are beautiful too. The bathrooms are private and they're really clean. There's a huge mirror in the shared sinks area where you can potentially decorate too! Right at the front, there's a security guard that watches the entrance for unknown guests so it makes the place feel even more secured. In the bride and groom suites, the bride's room gets a long and elevated look to allow the maximum space needed to get ready. For the groom, it's a small room with an L-sectional couch for the boys to hang out one last time together. For the 2nd level where everything else happens, the area looks small, but trust me, it can fit more people than expected. For my wedding, I had 20 tables that were setup, and there was still room to walk around comfortably. It's very convenient that there were private bathrooms upstairs too! At night time, the amber lighting makes the place feel like home. You can dim the lighting to whatever brightness you'd like too. Christina, who's the venue manager, she was so helpful! Her communication is very responsive and she's only just an email away. She even gave me her personal phone number in case we couldn't reach her by email. She did everything she could to make sure our special day was what we wanted! Even during rehearsal, I felt like my husband and I needed an extra hour to rehearse and she was very flexible with giving us another hour. When setting up our ceremony, Christina even stepped up and help us! She is very sweet and kind too. The Five Event Center is definitely worth it! My special day with my husband came out perfect and I couldn't be anymore grateful. If you are looking for an affordable, cozy and home feeling, this is the place you want to book!
