Green Acres made our wedding a dream come true. Robyn and Megan were absolutely amazing and they truly know what they're doing and enjoy doing it. The venue is gorgeous as is, lots of space for getting ready, and super efficient in getting the upstairs turned over if you're doing a ceremony, happy hour and reception there. Thank you Robyn, Megan and all of your staff for making our wedding the best day we could have ever dreamed of.

Green Acres was the PERFECT venue for our wedding reception. The whole team was phenomenal during the reception and truly exceeded our expectations. Victoria was an absolute delight to work with and she truly helped make everything come together!! The venue is absolutely perfect for a fall wedding with its rustic yet elevated charm. We could not have chosen a better venue to celebrate our big day and such a bonus to get to work with an incredible team!

We truly loved our wedding at Green Acres Event Center! The location is beautiful and the building leans well into its historic past while also feeling modern. The upstairs hall has a rich wood tone with gorgeous chandeliers and cozy alcoves. The acoustics were also great for dancing and speeches. However, we unfortunately did not have a seamless experience with venue management. We had three different venue managers over the time period when we booked the venue to the actual wedding date, which added undue stress. On our wedding day, it was disconcerting to find that the upstairs room setup details (harvest table, picture table, dessert table, etc.) we went over with the venue coordinator beforehand were not completed when we arrived. Also, the arbor and ceremony area were not set up when the wedding party arrived at 1:00 PM. The area also had significant bare patches with no grass despite our being told this would be addressed when we booked the year before. The coordinator seemed unaware that a rain shower came through shortly before guests started arriving, so we had to ask that chairs outside be dried before guests were seated. When a heavy, surprise rain shower interrupted our ceremony and everyone was rushed inside, staff seemed panicked and most decisions on how to best move forward were made instead between the bride, groom and our privately-hired day-of-coordinator. Overall, we were a little frustrated to have to ask the daytime coordinator to do things that had been previously agreed upon. We had a better experience with the evening coordinator who was fantastic and kindly helped the bride redo her makeup after the rain. Side note: the detached bridal building is super lovely but we found it inconvenient that the bride had to walk to and from to use the restroom inside the barn prior to the ceremony. Since we did not have a first look, it required communication to keep the groom from seeing the bride during her restroom runs. Additionally, the groom space was awesome but there were not enough hooks to hang clothing or clutter-free spots to keep belongings like backpacks, etc. All in all, we would definitely recommend the venue but improvements could be made to honoring the significant time the wedding party invested in plans that were ultimately not fulfilled day-of without prompting.
