Heath, Chaz, and Zach did a fabulous job. The only negative is there is no way to determine a budget for the move before the move takes place. It can get super expensive. But I was pleased with the movers.

I found this company to be easy to work with and they know what they are doing. However, I would say that it depends on your objective in having an estate sale. Do you want to do the work to prepare and operate the sale yourself or hire a company to do it for you. You will make more money doing it yourself, but it's a lot of work. Caring Transitions will contract to handle the sale from start to finish, and they will leave the house 'broom swept' and ready to sell. They send a crew to organize and price all items - they will have complete control of the pricing of all items. If they discover personal items or even money as they dig into the contents, they will set those aside for the family. Some items like jewelry and certain collectables will be transported to Elk City after the face-to-face sale for upload to their online store. CT Bids is available all over the world and they have many followers who collect various items. They have several outlets for items that don't sell. Some clothes are donated to Goodwill or other similar organizations. Some items may go to schools or shelters for battered women, etc. Items that are damaged or otherwise unsellable are transported to the dump. Any money realized no matter the source is first used to offset the CT fees. There is a substantial set up fee based on the size of the estate, a percentage is taken from the proceeds of the face-to-face sale, and there is a fee for each online sale. These add up quickly, but Tia tells me that in over 90% of the cases, the sale proceeds offset the fees, and she writes a check to the family when all items have been disposed of. Caring Transitions is a huge organization with locations all over the country. We won't hesitate to call Caring Transitions the next time we need their services.

Tia and her crew did a wonderful job sorting, cleaning , and getting my dad’s house and shop building ready to sell. What to me was an absolutely overwhelming and impossible job they handled in a couple of weeks and I can’t thank them enough.
