I can't tell you how uncomfortable I was the last time I was at Crabby Bill's with my girlfriends, we were having a great time but the manager came up and was literally staring at us from across the top tiki deck.We had the amazing service from Jayme and Kristal. As a business owner myself, seems like there would be a more productive job for the manager (I think his name was Luis) to be doing than sitting on the sidelines staring at me and my group all night. Seemed very odd and eerie to me. Other then that service was amazing and the food was good.

This was not our first visit to Crabby Bill's, but it will be our last. The restaurant has a good location with a great view of the ocean. Our server, Emily, was pretty good - adequately attentive and very friendly. The food was the greatest disappointment. First, I asked if hush puppies came with the meals (which I thought was a stupid question because what seafood restaurant doesn't serve hush puppies with their meals?), and I learned they did not. It was the explanation that got me - we were told it was too difficult to gauge how many to prepare (and they're prepped in advance). They do however serve an appetizer of hush puppies. So, what's the difference between gauging how many hush puppy apps to prep and how many hush puppies to go with meals to prep? Make it make sense. The hush puppies were mediocre anyway, so I guess no big loss. But I just hate when the servers are required to make lame excuses for poor business decisions. We had fried shrimp, and it CLEARLY had been sitting for a while under a heat lamp. Zero chance that the shrimp was freshly fried - it was evident from the breading. I don't know who thinks that's a good idea, but it really isn't. Our meal was right at $100, and the food was well below average. I would suggest, if you want seafood, there are far better places to find it. And, next time, we will.
