I wanted to write about how amazing this law group is. I hadn’t known the laws for my dog and needed to go to court after a situation that happened. I lived in another state all my life and didn’t realize that I couldn’t leave my dog in a car with auto start on so I could run and grab something from a store that only took a few minutes. I chose the Behan Law Group to help me fight the ticket and they did not disappoint. I had the pleasure of working with Ms. Amanda Stafford and the whole team there. Ms. Stafford has helped me feel comfortable in the court room and was just the friend that I needed. She has kept me informed with every detail and the steps of what was going to happen next. Whenever I had a question she got back to me right away within the hour of calling or emailing her. With her help the case is officially closed and I got the news a few days before Christmas. After the highway patrol charged me with a DUI at 8:00 a.m. in the morning, I had no idea what that meant or what to do. The Tucson Police Department had taken a report and called a tow truck then the highway patrol showed up and started over. However they began by ingnoring that a report had been taken, ignored that the car had been moved, ignored that the debris had been cleaned up, ignored that a semi had hit my car. Guess they just needed an arrest. I agreed to a blood test. (No mirandization.) Then they charged me. Being totally ignorant about the legal process, I searched for a law firm to represent me. I looked for a firm that had experience with DUIs and the Behan Law Firm fit that bill. I called and discussed what they did, what I would need, what it would cost, the process, etc. They were very forthcoming. The firm worked as a team wtih Changfang Xu as the assigned lawyer to my case. The case began in July 2025 and involved video tapes, written statements, photos, opinions, the 911 calls, etc. However as of December 15, 2025, the state had still not received any blood test results. Every month they would set a court date and then postpone. Ms. Xu made sure I understood what was going on and the team gathered several statements from me about what had happened. I did not need to interact with the legal system at all which was wonderful from my view point. I couldn't even get the highway patrol telephone number to try and get a report from them. Even the operator there refused to give me the telephone number. In early December, the court was suggesting another postponement into January. One of Ms. Xu strengths is experience with constitutional rights and finding the best solutions for her clients. The case was tossed out in December 2025 based on my constitutional right to a speedy trial which certainly wasn't happening. I couldn't believe how long the case kept going. In the beginning, there was lots of data sharing and participation by the Behan team on steps to take. When Michelle Behan herself called, I could hardly believe it was over. It certainly made for a better Christmas. Everyone on the team was very professional. They asked that anything I wrote be sent to the entire team and they did the same. As far as I am concerned this groups walks on water. I can't think of anything they could have done better!

They were very kind to me, they really cared, and kept me updated. I loved that they worked with my budget and granted me a payment plan. We achieved the goal that I was hoping for. I highly recommend this legal group for any legal needs.
