Being in the position to have to file bankruptcy was one of the toughest decisions I ever had to make. There are so many different emotions that come into play that it can feel overwhelming. My first meeting was with Lisa, who helped me understand the process and made me feel comfortable that this decision isn't the end of the world and that you can certainly bounce back after filing. Lisa was great!!! She was always there to answer questions throughout the process whenever needed. Attorney Chance McGhee is very thorough, and his years of experience definitely show. He is very detailed and made the process of filing a lot less difficult than I had imagined. Very professional

I was so far in debt due to Covid it was making me physically sick. I wasn’t sleeping and worrying about how to pay my next bill. I took out loans pre and post Covid trying to keep my business running. My medical bills from two spinal surgeries were outrageous I was to the point of no return. With the poor economy my business was getting close to the point of not making the loan payments. I meet with Mr. McGee and discussed my situation. He recommended bankruptcy and that I was not alone. He told me that lots of people are filing for bankruptcy post Covid. He gave me an assignment to get all of my debt organized and come back to see him. (do the homework he will have your back). When I came back to see him we went through all of my bills and sorted out what I thought I could pay per month. We had to sort out businesses debt and personal debt. When all said and done I had over 500 thousand in bills. I decided to keep my home mortgage and two equipment loans. I thought I could work out payments with these. Two of them allowed me to keep my loans. One just wanted to be difficult to work with. Mr.McGee allowed me to amend my bankruptcy by adding this difficult lender to my bankruptcy. All I can say is Mr. McGee was very sympathetic to my situation and offered me a way out. When we meet with my case worker to go over my bankruptcy Mr. McGee was there making sure I didn’t mess up. I was nervous and he told me everything would be okay. I highly recommend Chance McGee if you are having financial difficulties. He has a solution for you. He will guide you through the process and be sympathetic to your situation.
