I was going through a divorce that I felt like was never going to end! I was already about a year into the process and already went through another attorney who I felt was never on my side with anything and didn't accomplish anything for me. I was starting to lose all hope, until I met with Douglas for our consultation. Douglas genially cared about the situation I was in and worked diligently and efficiently to quickly get my case to the finish. I would highly recommend Douglas to anyone who is in a tough case or for that matter in any case!

Expedient communication and always very helpful advice and assistance.

I was represented by an incompetent attorney from DuPage County in my Kane County divorce and in danger of losing my visitation for no reason but my Whearon Attorney's incompetence. After firing DuPage attorney, I asked around and found that in Kane County Doug is a tireless Champion for both mother's and father's rights. I hired him, and Doug worked tirelessly for me to keep my visitation and phone privileges. Because of Doug Warlick's excellent service I was able to get back my time with my son, which my ex wife and her attorneys with their spite, fury and battalions of lies, tried to strip me of. Thanks Doug!

I obtained Douglas in my court matters during my divorce and again durning other court matters. I was represented better than I could have ever imagined. Doug is a very caring and compassionate lawyer listening to my needs and has fought hard for me. He went above and beyond and did everything he could to ensure a great outcome. I couldn't have asked for a better law lawyer to represent me.

Custody, negotiating disagreements, and forcing compliance to an agreement, Doug and his firm nailed everything I have given him. He has always told me in advance what the high and low estimates would be for work. In my case he hit the low target on two deals and was in the mid range on one. All fair in my opinion.

I think I could have had a great attorney-client relationship with Doug. He was exceedingly aggressive in the courtroom fighting for me and has no problem directly attacking a biased judge, biased GAL and opposing counsel. My case has been very unfair and I'm the hands-on type who likes to know what's going on, especially since my daughter's well being is on the line. This meant that I asked a lot of questions about what was going on. He started to take offense to my questions thinking I was criticizing him. This led to our conversations devolving into personal insults. At some point, even though the timing was terrible because I'm approaching a hearing, I had to discharge Doug. If you have a simple case and your daughter's relocation to another state with a narcissistic mother is not what's at stake, Doug likely will do very well for you, if you can afford him.

I would highly recommend Doug Warlick to any of my friends or family members. He was referred to me and I have no regrets. He does not sugarcoat anything. Doug was honest and told me like it is. If i had any questions or concern, he was right there when I needed him. Thank you Doug.

Doug Warlick and Associates did a terrific job representing my divorce case and I couldn’t be happier with the attention and the outcome of my case. I am sure I was small potatoes vs. other clients Doug manages, but I still received great council and personalized attention throughout the process. My ex was difficult to work with and there were many times Doug had to talk me off the ledge – offering a human touch through a gut wrenching process. He spent a lot of his own personal time drafting documents to make sure they thoroughly represented my best interests and always kept me informed. When I met Doug, I was in a very bad place with my case. He was calm, and listened to my plight with interest and understanding. When I retained him, I had no idea how amazing he would be for my case.I had already been told he was "The Best" by many other colleagues, and another attorney from Chicago that I met through a friend. He has since proven that above and beyond. Doug is diligent, and thorough, he looks at every angle, and has knowledge of the patience needed for these cases. With that knowledge, he helped me to remain calm, and stay strong. Without going into the devastating details of my case, I will say this... I am a domestic violence victim/survivor, trying to keep my young son safe. Doug has done everything in his power to ensure his safety and to fight for my rights. He genuinely cares about his clients. He invests himself into the cases he works on, and does everything he can to succeed for them. Doug and his associates were not my first attorneys but wish I had found them first. He was professional and compassionate for my situation. They were able to get things moving along and within six months completed my divorce, custody and relocation. This firm was always available to answer any questions or concerns I had. Made a difficult time little more easy knowing I had them. Always had someone in court representing me. Doug and firm kept me in the loop with emails and court summons as I no longer lived in Illinois. I have read some comments about money. Well people you get what you pay for. Remember I said had previous attorney, well he was cheap flat fee and did nothing and when ex husband started contesting stated he no longer could represent me. Doug was extraordinary, I called him and was able to see him same day. Next day all was filed in court since first attorney did not do that. Doug will work with clients in regards to payments. For my case even forgave the interest that had piled up. Communication is everything. Remember he has done his part and just because it is over or some did not like the outcome he is still entitled to his wages. Not always are the attorneys at fault for how long it takes. My case my ex kept asking for continuances and went thru 3 attorneys which gave each of them an additional 30 days each to get caught up. I believe it would have been done in 3 months if my ex did not keep firing his attorneys. Because of this, Doug was able to go after my ex for some of the fees. I would recommend Doug Warlick and associates to anyone. Thank you for everything your firm did for myself and my daughter.

I am so grateful that Douglas Warlick & Associates handled my difficult divorce. The process took two years to complete because opposing sides would not comply. I am not the type of person who constantly goes to court so I felt out of sorts but Doug was informative and professional. He always arrived to court prepared and ready to fight for me.
