Beautiful hotel with great views from the balcony and the pool area. The continental breakfast was good. We had spacious rooms, but there were mechanical issues with the toilet and door to the balcony that took several calls to resolve. The person who came to the room to fix the issues was somewhat abrasive. Other staff were okay. Common areas were great for our group of 15. Tiles by the pool were slippery.

I would give this hotel 4.2 stars. The rooms provide spectacular views of the bay (ocean). We stayed in room 901 and it provided the closest and best frontal view of ocean with a corner view of hotel pool next door. Sunsets from the balcony are absolutely amazing. If you prefer a view of the Edge pool, look for rooms in the higher counts. Hotel service was good most days. On one night the housekeeper did a great job cleaning room but forgot to provide any towels. We called the front desk and they immediately sent a staff member to deliver the towels. The breakfast staff were friendly and there's decent variety of continental selections but unfortunately, it’s the same food every day. The only hot meal selection are pancakes. There are two pancake machines that make 2 small pancakes at the press of a button. At $425/night we felt more hot selections (not counting toasted bread) would have been appreciated. Unfortunately, it rained a lot during our 7 days stay (2/12-2/28/2024) and it was fairly cold (64 to 70 degrees) so I suggest you go when it's warmer. It didn’t help that the 9th floor hallway was maintained at a very cold 65 degrees. The hotel doesn’t provide umbrellas so bring one if rain is expected. We did enjoy the heated infinity pool on the only warm sunny day. Jimmy's on the Edge restaurant located on the 10th floor did provide good food and drinks at very reasonable prices. They provided nightly music and a free 9pm fireball shot. Unfortunately, there was an incident between a recently hired male bartender and a senior male patron where the bartender was extremely upset at being touched by the senior, pulled him from chair, dragged him to the floor and told him to get the F out. The patron stood on floor for a few minutes before other staff members helped him to his feet and offered him water. We didn’t witness what caused the confrontation but felt the bartender could have been a bit more cool-headed and requested help from coworkers. The injured patron contacted the police and upon arrival they interviewed bartender, patron and other staff members while the customers tried to enjoy the night. I understand the hotel is not responsible for restaurant incidents but the staff need to understand that their actions are being viewed by both hotel and non-hotel guests. Security cameras are needed (if not already installed). Lastly the hotel charges 5 additional taxes and resort fees to the room charge so it’s important to know the overall cost of your stay before you book. We booked hotel via Travelocity so we knew in advance the total charges. Service/Staff=4 Food=4 Drinks=5 Entertainment=4 Atmosphere/Resort=4
