This place was great. Very clean, really easy check in, tons of things to do within walking distance, house keeping did not wake you up at 7am, room had a fridge and microwave, iron and ironing board, modern shower.. I will say that the little convenience store in the Lobby has very mysterious hours of operation and all of the soda machines and ice machines were not functioning so bring your own snacks and drinks.. there is a gas station within walking distance that has everything you need so its not a major issue.. overall I would definitely stay there again.
Great gym, lots of parking. Place is dope.
Do Not Stay Here!! I stayed at the Edge Hotel Clearwater Beach for three nights in February 2026. The property looks decent from the lobby and the views are beautiful, but that is where the positives end. This was one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had, and at over $400 per night, it is completely inexcusable. The shower did not work. The water pressure was nearly nonexistent, pulsating on and off, through a mold-clogged shower head. It took me an hour and a half to shower on my first night. I reported it immediately. Nothing happened. When I followed up the next day, they admitted they never reported it to maintenance. When maintenance finally came, the technician replaced the shower head, which helped the flow but did nothing for the pulsating. He tried to tell me it only happens when the lever is “in the middle,” meaning I could either scald myself or freeze. I had to argue with him and push back repeatedly before he agreed to replace the cartridge, and then spent two hours making noise in my room while I was on work calls. The harassment was relentless. I had a Do Not Disturb sign on my door. Housekeeping banged on it at least a dozen times throughout the morning. The front desk called me seven or more times insisting I come downstairs to handle a reservation technicality, despite my telling them repeatedly that I was on work calls. Staff entered my room multiple times without permission while my sign was clearly displayed. I had to physically engage the interior lock to stop them, and even then they continued trying. I felt genuinely unsafe. There is no drinking water available anywhere in the hotel. No vending machines, no water fountain, no bottled water for purchase. When I called the front desk, they told me to go across the street. The ice machine was also broken. I ended up ordering water delivery from Walmart. For a beachfront hotel at this price point, this is absurd. The late checkout situation was the final insult. I called the evening before checkout and was told I could have a 1pm checkout, with a note left for the morning manager regarding 2pm. When I called at 8am, I was told no late checkout at all and to be out by 11am. The manager was rude, dismissive, and when I explained I had a conference to attend and asked what would happen to my belongings, he threatened to have me removed. I have a disability, and being forced to pack and haul luggage to a conference I was already missing was painful and humiliating. I arrived two hours late and missed critical meetings. This hotel has a staffing and management problem. The front desk does not communicate internally. Maintenance requests are ignored. Guest boundaries are violated. And when things go wrong, management responds with hostility rather than accountability. Save your money and stay somewhere that treats guests with basic respect and professionalism.
We had an awesome stay at Edge. Watched dolphins right from our patio, enjoyed the city beach, and the amazing nearby restaurants.
Parking and breakfast are supposed to be free but are absolutely not. This place is a scam. There was black mold in our shower and our room wasn't cleaned once in 4 days. Pool area was dirty and staff was less than enthusiastic. Management basically told me to jump off a bridge.
