Sharing our experience because we will not stay here again. I have stayed at The Edge 4 times and have had no issues. We arrived on Monday afternoon. Checking in I noticed that the bar at the pool was not open. I was told we would have to go up to the 10th floor to get our drinks because the bar would not be open until Wednesday or Thursday. It opened on Thursday. Our room was clean and we had a gulf view. Unfortunately the hallway was experiencing roof leaks and they had trash cans throughout and fans blowing the entire stay. Very disappointed in the breakfast. They offer a continental breakfast and hard boiled eggs laying in a pan with water. Very poor choices. Yuk! I could have stayed at the Holiday Inn or Econ lodge and got a breakfast with meats and scrambled eggs etc. I did speak to the manager and asked why we are paying for amenities that we are not getting and he said the pool bar is not guaranteed and that they had roof leaks. Basically, he did not care. We were told from workers that the hotel was only 17% full and this was their off season. So I guess travelers during this time get poor food, bar service etc? Btw, this is the first bad review I have ever left in all my travels. We will not be back to stay at The Edge.

the owner is a W mans and he literally was a hotel owner dude it was crazy dude oh my god oh my god,,,, AND i met LosPollosTV! FLIGHT TEAM STAND UP!

BEWARE OF BED BUGS!! We checked into this hotel on a Friday night. Once we got settled after about an hour of being in the room I took a shower and came out to find both beds infested with bed bugs. Some of them were huge, some of them small, but none the less both beds completely covered. Called downstairs to let them know and they gave us a new room. I told them to have a manager contact me, which he never did. I then had to go down to the lobby the next morning and ask about a refund and they told me to contact Expedia who i booked through and it will all be taken care of. NOT THE CASE. I spent the next 3 days contacting expedia who was trying to contact them to get me refunded just for the first night and ended up paying for the rest. The part that really concerns me was not only was it infested with bedbugs they never cared. I stated numerous times to have the manager contact me and left my name, number, and email. He still has not and doesn't care. This was so disgusting and really put a damper on what was supposed to be a parents vacation for our birthdays. We still paid for the rest of the stay, the service charges, and whatever bar bill we drew up trying to have fun. We have stayed at this hotel 3 times and will never be back. Plenty of other nice hotels near the beach, don't waste your time with this trash.
