These folks are thorough! We were clearing out mom's house so she could move to independent living. That's not something you do often (or, in our case, ever) so you really want somebody who know the process inside-out. Caring Transitions answered the questions we didn't even know we were going to ask. Everything was done the way they said it would be done, and, more importantly, WHEN they said it would be done. The clear-out crew worked so fast and so efficiently I remember thinking, "I better not lay my keys down or they'll be gone!" It would have taken us weeks to accomplish what they did in a few hours.

Caring Transitions did an amazing job of cleaning out my mother's house. She was kind, professional and made very good suggestions. They had everything organized for the online auction and sent me the link so I could follow along with how things were going. It was very interesting. It took a couple of weeks afterwards for accounting to do their thing then they sent me a check. I highly recommend them.

My experience with Caring Transitions utilizing their online auction service to sell some of my collected treasures, (in my mind) proved very worthwhile. The entire process was very easy from the time after the large snowstorm I connected with their director, Kim, to drop off my valuables on very short notice to Kimberly, who was very helpful in unloading at their storage and shipping warehouse on Benefield Road, to them posting all my items with pictures the following week. As i watched the auction online, it was very intersting to watch the bidding process. My most valuable items did very well. The less valuable, not so well, but that wasn't really a surprise. Within a week of the auction closing, I received a statement detailing all the items selling prices and my net after Caring Transitions' commission. Their check for my portion arrived three days later. All in all, I had a very positive interaction with their staff, and I would higly recommend them.

Kim and her crew at Caring Transitions of Annapolis provided incredible service for a project that was tremendous in scope. My older brother, who lived in Annapolis, passed away unexpectedly in January of 2025. I live in New York and was named Personal Representative of his Estate. My brother was an avid collector and after the sale of his condo, I had 6 storage units to contend with in the Annapolis area. I had no idea how I was going to get through 6 storage units to figure out what to donate, sell or bring to the landfill. My realtor in Annapolis pointed me in the direction of Caring Transitions of Annapolis in August of 2025. So very happy that he did, because it has been an amazing experience! The level of professionalism, expediency of emptying the storage units (so the Estate had less bills to pay for storage rental), clear communication and final auction results made for a truly seamless experience. They truly are the best!!

This company is great. They have a well organized process that works quickly and gets great results. They have found a way to make estate sales much easier.
