Caring Transitions provided excellent and reasonably priced services for a move for my sister from her independent home to an assisted living apartment within the Twin Towers retirement community. The owner, Rosie Harris, was flexible with setting the moving date on short notice as the family worked through the Twin Towers system to confirm a date. She came to the home about 2 weeks ahead of time to discuss the move, and the services Caring Transitions could provide including donation and/or disposal of items that couldn't move, and then sent a quote. The actual packing day and moving day went extremely well. The Caring Transitions staff was personable and efficient. They left the old house completely cleared out and ready for inspection and the new apartment with furniture in place, items unpacked, and moving boxes and packing material taken away. This type of move is always emotional and difficult for resident and family, but working with Rosie and her staff relieved a lot of stress and we felt supported throughout the process. They truely delivered a "Caring Transistion".

Rosie and her team have been absolutely wonderful helping to downsize my elderly parents from their home of 48 years into a retirement community. From the start, they've been polite, sensitive, professional and understanding. They've shown they know how to be patient with elderly people who are sentimentally attached to their things, may be confused sometimes about what decisions to make, often reversing decisions in the process, which might cause other companies to lose patience. It has meant the world to me knowing that my parents have been in such good hands while I've been working full time and unable to be there for the process. They have done everything from packing up the house to moving, unpacking, even setting up their beds in their new apartment so they could go right to sleep that night. Now they are working at the family home preparing to auction what remains and remove the remainder after that. I cannot recommend this team highly enough. Eveyone have them has been so kind, always calling my parents "ma'am" and "sir". They have felt cared for and seen.
