I truly could not say enough amazing things about Alan and the entire Caring Transitions team. I live out of state and needed to head back to Fredericksburg to finish clearing out my Grandfather's house in order to sell it. I reached out to Alan letting him know I would only be in town for a week to get the job done. After initially doing a walk through with Alan on what to pack, sell, or junk, he and the team got to work right away and were able to pack up everything I wanted to bring back with me by the NEXT day and loaded it into my car. Because of this, I was able to return home early knowing that the Caring Transitions team were able to continue working to clear the home since I gave them access. In just TWO weeks, the team was able to clear out the house which my Grandfather owned for over 30+ years (so you can imagine the amount of items that were left) which tremendously helped in me being able to sell and close on the house before the year ended. This would not have been possible without Caring Transitions. They were prompt, respectful, SO helpful, and overall just amazing partners to me in what was such a crunch time period. I cannot recommend them enough!!

I hired Alan and his team to help clean out my parents home after they passed away. There was 20 years of memories packed into their home. I worked on the house and was getting no where, so I felt! Alan came in, explained how it works and we hired him! Within 3 weeks, every item from the home was auctioned ,donated and removed. Items that did not sell, went to needy organizations and the house was totally empty! They were professional, kind, and thorough! They really take a job that is so difficult for family, and master the task! They offered for me to be involved in the process as much or little as I chose! I can't explain how grateful I am for the work they did!! They really helped me through a hard time!! At the end, everything was itemized and accounted for! I am 78 years old and have made many moves over the years. My latest move, made just recently, a friend recommended Kim and her company Caring Transitions of Fredericksburg, Virginia.I am so glad I took my friends advice. One of their staff, Diane, came in the day before my move and packed the majority of my items to be moved, leaving my bed so I would have a place to sleep that night. The next day Diane and her crew came and loaded all of my belongings to move to my new home. Diane was fantastic to work with, asking questions that would make my move a smooth transition. They delivered everything to my new home, putting my furniture exactly as I had requested and placing everything else in the cabinets or closet I requested. I have never had an easier move, so glad I took the advice of my friend. Not only was the move made easy but the cost to make the move was very reasonable.
