My experience with Rachel Rohn and her team at Caring Transitions of Garden City has been excellent and exceptional. Rachel was communicative, professional and extremely proficient. She helped our 90 year old mom move from a house she had lived in for 54 years to a senior apartment in another state. My mom uses a walker and couldn’t do much of her own packing…but she knew what she wanted to take. My mom’s 3 adult kids live out of town…so Rachel kept me (the daughter who engaged her services) informed every step of the way. She packed her up, was there when the movers came, knew exactly what to send on the truck…and then held an estate sale. We gave her a very small window to accomplish everything in as the house was sold and we needed it emptied quickly. Done. Matt, who works with Rachel was also super nice and helpful. Mary also came with Rachel to pack and my mom liked her as well. The job was completed in a thorough manner taking a ton off my plate. Couldn’t have done this without the help we received. Loved working with Rachel and her team.

After the death of my sister, my other sister and I were faced with the task of cleaning out her house, which was also our childhood home. There was an enormous amount of things that had to be gone through. It was emotional and a lot of work. Caring Transitions to the rescue. Once we had taken out the items we wanted they took over to organize and have an estate sale. What a wonderful job they did. There were people coming through and buying items all day long. The next task was to clean out anything left over which they took care of by donating items and then discarding items that had no value. They also did an auction of items that they thought would have more value than in an estate sale. The final task was to clean out the house for the closing. The house looked great and the buyer was very happy with the walk through. Rachel and Cate and their crew did a wonderful job. I highly recommend Caring Transitions of Garden City.

Caring Transitions is extremely professional. They organized everything from start to finish when we had to sell my mother in laws house.They ran the estate sale, did the final clean out of items and cleaned the house so it was sparkling. As you can imagine there were a lot of items since this was my husband’s childhood home. Also they were a pleasure to work with. They were wonderful and we recommend them highly!

I cannot say enough good things about Rachel and her team from Caring Transitions of Garden City. They made what felt like an impossible task seem easy. We were sorting and packing almost 27 years of “stuff” and furniture to be moved across the country. We are now here 2 months. If it weren’t for Rachel and her team I would still be packing. Amazing, trustworthy, and dependable!!
