They have a lot of experience in dementia care. They came to the house for an initial visit to learn about my dad and his situation. They already had a layout of his space at the facility and asked us to mark things that were important to him. They brought their own movers and delivered everything to his room. They placed the furniture, hung the pictures, made the bed, hung up clothes, everything to make it feel like his old place. They arranged everything with the idea of safety in mind, even pointing out that his bed was too high to be safe. They also pointed out punch out items. We would never have been able to put his place together like they did.

Experience really makes a difference when dealing with helping a parent settle into a new place. These folks helped to consider so many variables we wouldn't have known would be important, yet managed to make our mother feel in control. Communication was excellent and process was efficient and personal. Lisa makes a difficult transition so much easier than we could have hoped.
