Worked with Mr. Villanueva to complete my (somewhat complicated) 2018 tax return. He was far more knowledgeable, faster, and more communicative than the accountant I dealt with the last two years; I wish I’d met him back then! Definitely working with Ed again for 2019!!!
I'd like to write a few words to express my gratitude and thanks to Mr. Ed Villanueva. Unfortunately, I put myself in no man's land with the IRS - you can call it ignorance for listening to somebody else, not dealing with the issue right away, nothing is going to happen mentality, etc. The result was very stressful when it came to dealing with the IRS and their way of getting their payments (levy on paycheck). To be honest, I called an out of state agency, but in talking to them, I just didn't like their proposal and the fact that they were an out of state agency. Then I looked at the San Antonio phone book and found Mr. Ed Villanueva's number - best phone call I ever made. When I talked to Mr. Villanueva, he sounded honest and very knowledgeable. The process took a couple of weeks, due to holidays in between. The outcome was very positive. The levy was lifted and money's taken by IRS were returned. Just a word of advice - if you currently have IRS issues, be proactive and call Mr. Villanueva. He will take care of your IRS issues and give you peace of mind.
I was referred to Ed Villanueva by my divorce attorneys about 8 or 9 years ago when the IRS cleaned out my bank account because my ex husband (who ironically is a public figure in South Texas) had not paid our taxes for the last 7 years of our marriage. Ed successfully settled my case with the IRS by providing that the back taxes were my ex's responsibility. Thanks to Ed, I was cleared and my money was returned in a timely manner. And, this past year my ex had the audacity to claim my sons (who live with me and go to college) as his dependents on his tax return. What a surprise when I attempted to file my tax return electronically and it was declined for submission because my ex had claimed my sons. Once again, Ed went to bat for me with the IRS and within a short period of time, I received my tax refund.
I was in a situation where the IRS had garnished my wages and bank accounts. I hired E Villanueva & Associates and Ed was able to get both garnishments released and even negotiated a payment plan for me. Ed really knows how to work with the IRS to benefit his clients. Let Ed put his 34 years of experience to work for you.
After my recent divorce, I learned that my ex had not been keeping up with the taxes for our business. I was unsure of how to make heads or tails of the whole situation and hoped that everything would just resolve itself - even though I knew I couldn't just bury my head in the sand. I reached out to Mr. Villanueva for advice and he took the time to meet with me and explain in detail how I could avoid additional penalties from the IRS. Mr. Villanueva was very thorough as he went through all of my paperwork. He put my mind at ease knowing that he could find a resolution to my issues. I am so thankful that I found Mr. Villanueva. He was truly a miracle worker! I highly recommend Mr. Ed Villanueva to anyone that has questions about their business and/or personal taxes.
