I could not be more pleased! John and his crew started to work and never stopped until I was packed, moved and unpacked. They were friendly and respectful of my things and definitely worth the price. I highly recommend John and his crew.

I selected Caring Transitions and John Milkay to move some furniture from my mother’s Independent Living Apartment at Danberry at Inverness to my home. She will be moving to Assisted Living in coming weeks, and she needs to downsize. Caring Transitions was on Danberry’s referral list, their reviews were good, and they were available when I needed them. John came to the apartment a few minutes ahead of the movers to make sure everything was ready. He remained there with me to manage the entire move to the end at my home. The movers were prompt, professional and, most importantly, took great care with my mother’s furniture. I will be moving soon myself and have already booked my move with Caring Transitions. Highly recommend!

Joanna and John went well beyond just helping me with my mother’s belongings, they were an incredible resource for various community supports while making the transition so much easier. They are the experts that I will recommend to anyone going through this stage of a loved one’s life. This was the most important call I made!!

We used John and his team to move my mom into Danberry (Independent Living). John went above and beyond - from meeting with us initially to discuss the process to showing up three days post-move (on a Saturday, within an hour of being contacted) to help my mom with a printer she thought had been broken during the move (it hadn't been!). My mom's (understandable) stress and anxiety had her not at her best, but John and his team were nothing but kind and patient with her. Overall, a wonderful experience - the professionalism, efficiency, detail-orientation of John and his team are such that I'd recommend them to anyone looking for a moving service that will not only get you / your loved one moved, but also pack up your things and then unpack them in your new place!
