John and Lynn were fantastic. With aging parents who are downsizing, we needed help. From our first consultation, Caring Transitions took excellent care of us. They helped us plan the move, recommending what to pack and leave. They packed up everything with care and detail. They moved everything, including an extra stop at a storage unit. They unpacked every box and took away all of the trash. And most importantly, they helped recreate my parents home in their new facility. Furniture was arranged, clothes were unpacked and put away, pictures were hung on the walls, etc. My parents walked into their home and couldn’t believe their eyes. We are eternally grateful to John and Lynn for their tireless, hard work, attention to detail, humor, and compassion. I would highly recommend them to anyone!!!

This was my childhood home a well-loved 60-year-old house filled with decades of memories, history, and honestly, decades of accumulation over time. The home was still occupied by my Mom’s husband, who is 85 years old, and what initially felt emotionally and physically overwhelming to our family was handled incredibly well by Joanna and her team. They were recommended to us by our realtor, and that relationship worked extremely well throughout everything. Joanna understood from day one that this was not simply a “clean out” job. This was a family home transitioning to its next steward after a lifetime of memories. The team successfully organized and ran an estate sale, helped separate meaningful items from clutter, coordinated donations for what remained, and transformed the house into something clean, manageable, and ready for preparation to sell. What impressed me most was their ability to balance compassion with execution. We were on a compressed timeline, and they absolutely delivered. At the same time, they handled the emotional side of things with genuine care and professionalism. My Mom’s husband stopped by multiple times during the transition and understandably became emotional at moments. Joanna handled those interactions with patience, kindness, and respect instead of treating it like just another job site. The before-and-after difference was honestly remarkable. Our family is deeply grateful for the organization, hard work, communication, and caring approach Joanna and her team brought to a very emotional transition. Highly recommend.

I selected Caring Transitions and John Milkay to move some furniture from my mother’s Independent Living Apartment at Danberry at Inverness to my home. She will be moving to Assisted Living in coming weeks, and she needs to downsize. John came to the apartment a few minutes ahead of the movers to make sure everything was ready. He remained there with me to manage the entire move to the end at my home.
