We needed a service to move all my moms belongings and Caring Transitions delivered. The cleaned out the apartment on time. Put items up for auction and sent items not able to be auctioned to purple heart as a donation. Really appreciate the efforts!

We live in South Carolina and needed help in moving our 84 year old sister from Montgomery County Maryland closer to her siblings here. From their first visit with my sister, through various meetings to help her identify what she would bring South and what she could leave behind, to the final packing ahd shipping of her belongings here, they were efficient, professional and -- most importantly in dealing with an elderly sister making a significant move after more than 30 years in her apartment -- sympathetic and understanding of all of her needs. I can not say enough about this company. Our realtor, Michelle Kemerer suggested them and they were an absolute blessing. I had to move a family member out of their home on short notice and was facing 40 years of accumulated furniture, prized mementos and actual junk. John Moreira came to the home sat down and let me know exactly what to expect. He was able to auction off many of the items to off set the costs of emptying the home. His workers were professional and kind and made what was a stressful experience into a seamless process. Very happy with the services provided by Caring Transitions of Rockville for managing the clean out of my mother's home of more than 60 years. Quick turnaround after initial phone call to engage them, even with the holidays coming up. Online auction was very successful, from the set up to the pick up. The final clear out of the house was handled by four very pleasant men, whose kindness and humor made a difficult day go by quickly with laughs. The communication via email and text was always quick and any concerns I had were addressed immediately. A very professional company that I highly recommend.

Caring Transitions of Rockville helped my 84- and 85-year-old parents move from their 5-bedroom home of 45 years to a 2-bedroom condo in a different state. When I initially contacted John, I was impressed with his warmth, knowledge, and experience. He was able to answer all of my questions from the beginning, and he was able to answer my dad's 8 million questions throughout. :) He was patient, well organized, and very knowledgeable about each step, and made sure that my dad felt comfortable - because my dad had initially been pretty anxious about the move. John's team supported my parents through all phases of the move from initial thinking and planning; through the actual decision making, triage, and packing up; and even set up people to help them unpack on the other end. Their warmth and patience were much appreciated, as my parents hadn't moved in 45 years, had accumulated a lot of stuff, and felt quite overwhelmed by the process.
