We needed to find a more reliable HVAC company for our residential HVAC maintenance and service. After reviewing BBB, Yelp and Google, we chose Youngren’s Inc, Heating & Cooling, in Aurora, IL. The technician came out promptly, he was very pleasant and polite. He explained our options with no pressure, expertly performed the needed services, and gave us very good advice about filters. We are 100% satisfied with the service, the technician and the Customer Service in the office. We highly recommend Youngren’s Inc, Heating & Cooling.

I called youngrens Saturday because my furnace was not working they came out and said there would be a $95 service charge I said it was okay the guy got here in about 90 min and after 15 minutes he fixed it , it was an ignitor which was great but he charged me $271 for a $30 part so it ended up being $366 with a $95 service charge I asked him why did you charge me so much for a $30 part that's like a 10 x marked up and he told me "well lady if you don't like it I can take it out and leave right now "obviously I said no that's okay you can leave it in and I paid him but I did tell him I would leave a Google review so here it is. I tried posting pics of invoice and part and the screens hot of the part on Amazon for 30 bucks but for some reason can't post pics here.will.try and edit later.

Hello Rose, I am sorry that we were unable to accept Walmart gift cards as a form of payment and that you feel like our pricing wasn't in line with what you found on Amazon. Having been in business for now over 90 years, we have always found our pricing to be fair and competitive with other local contractors. However, as explained when you called in to our emergency line on Saturday and scheduled the call, the $95 diagnostic fee covers the travel/truck fee and the technician's time to diagnose your unit which is standard for any residential service call that we complete. The repair price that you were quoted and gave the ok to be completed, included the part, labor (Saturday emergency hours), taxes and a one year warranty on the repair. Along with the comfort of having heat restored to your home, same day. The technician explained to you that if you didn't want him to complete the repair, you were free to order the part from Amazon and have us return to install it or do it on your own. We do not order our factory OEM parts from overseas sellers on Amazon. Our parts come from industry manufacturer part distributors, to keep within the UL listings on your furnace and are backed by our one year warranty on the repair completed. I did notice that you did not take advantage of one of our money saving coupons during your visit, so I am refunding $25.00 to your card to give you the offer of $25.00 off any residential repair.
