Highlights for those that don't want to read all the details, we are generally happy with the product/service, but the journey was interesting. I'd give 3.5 stars if I could...closer to 4 than 3 so I errored on the positive side. Sales process was positive. Justin evaluated our job, suggested some things, and gave a good quote. We had other estimates and after negotiating a few points we choose Feazel largely based on reviews, price, and warranty. We put 1/2 down at the time of selecting the company. (Our job was a full roof and gutter replacement.) We hadn't heard anything as we approached the initial date, so we reached out. Got a call from the scheduler with a cancelation and asked if we could be ready for the roofing team within a few days. We were flexible and agreed. The project manager shared the crew spoke little to no English. This was no issue since we didn't really need to interact. The job overlapped with some other engagements for us so we were not at home for portions of the installation, which also was not an issue. The name on the vehicles was not Feazel. It was explained that they subcontracted the labor of the install, but the warranty would be valid as they had been certified. When we returned home, we were kind of surprised to still have our original gutters, but the roof looked nice. Our PM explained that the work would be different crews and that we would get another call to schedule that part of the install. I guess it wasn't a huge surprise it would be different workers, just didn't expect it. Got a call a week or so later to get the gutters installed. At the same time, I was having our insulation inspected. They had found that the attic vents for the bathrooms were not vented up through the roof post installation. That was part of our negotiation on the original deal. They also noted that the powered attic vent wasn't wired to the power. (it was all there, just not hooked up). I called to validate those points and two more visits were scheduled. First an electrical sub-contractor came out to wire up the attic fan. That was a bit of an experience because we weren't sure how many there were and/or where they were so we weren't much help for him as he searched. The second group that showed up got in the attic, found the bathroom fans, and put the penetrations through the roof. So, all in all we got the work done, we really like the way the roof looks, and the gutters seem to be done well from what we can tell. Clean-up has been a challenge. We got a flat due to a nail. This kind of thing isn't unheard of and is maybe to be expected as a risk. That said, I walked around the yard and found dozens of roofing nails just walking and looking. (They have green plastic discs around the head so they're easy to see). The other nails that have been harder to find are maybe the one's that came out during the tear off because they're just black nails. We also found chunks of gutter metal, covers, pins etc that I suspect we'll finish cleaning up in the spring. (we have a three year old who runs around barefoot in the summer so I'm nervous of getting something stuck in his foot...I'll probably buy a magnet and walk the yard) We also lost a couple of small bushes to the removal process. Things falling and striking them in a way to bust branches and split some of them down the center. The crew did put up protective covers from the roof down to the yard, so there were steps taken to protect the landscaping. The other challenge was just understanding that the job was going to be four different visits that would span the month. Had the insulation company not spotted that the attic vent was unwired or that the bathroom vents weren't penetrating the roof I'm not sure the work would have been completed. I don't know that it wouldn't have, either to be fair. I just wouldn't have known to ask. Absent a clear schedule showing the different high-level tasks/timing were accounted for it's hard to say for sure. Also not hug fan of penetrating the roof after the new roof was put on.

I worked with Sales Rep Erich Moore, and was super pleased with the service provided. Erich first assessed the damage to our roof, helped guide me through the process of filing a claim with my insurance company, and was there every step of the way. Very quick in answering any questions, and patient as the whole process developed.
