I highly, highly recommend Caring Transitions. My brother and I were facing one of the hardest times in our lives. We had recently lost our father, and our mom was moved to assisted living. We were overwhelmed with the challenge of going through our parents’ home filled with years of family memories and cherished possessions, especially since neither of us lived in the area. From the moment we met with Mary Kay and Paul, we felt an enormous weight off our shoulders. They gave us peace of mind, and they were very honest and very clear in their explanation of the entire process. Mary Kay and Paul and their hardworking team did an outstanding job of getting the items ready for the online auction and picker sale, which was very well attended and generated more funds than we expected. The biggest gift was that Caring Transitions took the burden off our hands, sold or donated our parents’ belongings, left the home completely empty and CLEAN, as promised. Their communication throughout the process was caring, prompt and professional. If you find yourself in the position where you cannot be there or live out of town, you will feel safe knowing they are trustworthy, kind, and exceptionally good at what they do. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

Caring Transitions has now moved me twice in the last year, and I cannot speak highly enough of this team. They go above and beyond, getting to know your goals in a move (downsizing, the emotional toll in addition to the move, how best to settle you into your new home). They provide end-to-end professionalism; exceptional service; kindness and caring; and outstanding staging - so much that it felt like I had lived in each new home for years, not hours, by the time they left. Transitions are hard; Caring Transitions makes them so much easier, and the team feels like family. I cannot recommend them highly enough for any move for life transition.

Great company, does everything and really does care

I had engaged Caring Transitions TC East to move my sister into memory care. Long story short, the move couldn't happen due to issues on my family's end. However, I have to highly recommend Spencer and his team. We had them scheduled several times and had to cancel each time, due to interference from an ex. Spencer was so patient and understanding, and he was always willing to try to help us, even though we'd messed up his schedule more than once. Should my family need the services of this type of company again in the future, I would not hesitate to call Caring Transitions TC East. I can't speak to the monetary value of their services, because they didn't actually provide/bill for any. But the compassion Spencer demonstrated was valuable beyond measure--he proved that this is the company I'd want to line up for such services!
