Moving and packing are only a small portion of what Asha offers clients. My elderly parents passed away after living at their house for over 30 years. A house filled with so many things, to include many wonderful memories, and a barn full of things was left, as well. The house and property would be selling soon. I was tasked with how to handle this situation. Having a lot on my shoulders already, I contacted a few entities that facilitate auctions. After researching, I decided to set up a meeting with Caring Transitions/Jonesboro. One of their owners came out, and we sat and talked for quite a while. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful, polite and respectful of our situation. He explained that their company held an on-line auction (instead of an auction in the house or in the front yard). That appealed to me, although I wasn’t sure how anyone could go through a 3-story house so full of things and organize, photograph, and sell these items on-line. But they did. It was a small team that came into my folks’ home (and barn). They were all very nice. They respected that although these things didn’t carry any memories for them…they did for our family. They were quite organized in their efforts and were easy to communicate with. The owner of Caring Transitions/Jonesboro was involved on-site almost daily. He took time to explain things to us. His team posted well-taken photos of a few hundred things in the house and posted them on their auction website. The descriptions were appropriately written. The owner had told us that they can do “…as little or as much…” as we wanted them to in regards to removing things from the house. We wanted the house to be cleaned out, emptied and ready for sale. The Caring Transitions/Jonesboro team did that. The auction ran for about two weeks on-line. The final day was the day the people with the winning bids picked up their winnings. Within about two hours after the last pick-up, the house was completely empty and clean. This was a little unbelievable to me – but they did it – just as the owner said they would. I highly recommend Caring Transitions/Jonesboro.

The coordination and thoroughness made our relocation fast and easy. We’ve moved several times over the years and the move was the best.
