My parents (ages 86 and 84) recently made a big life transition, moving out of their condo of 25 years into a new home with an elevator. As you can imagine, this was an emotional and overwhelming process—but this team made it feel manageable and even comforting. Even though this was a relatively small job, from start to finish, they were patient, respectful, and incredibly thoughtful with my parents and their belongings. They treated everything—and everyone—with such care. What truly stood out was the owner’s generosity and character. After completing the move, he declined payment for himself and simply asked that we pay his hardworking team member (Ramone). That level of honesty and kindness is rare. It’s not just a moving company—it’s a company run by genuinely good people who understand that they’re not just moving boxes, they’re helping families through important life moments. We are beyond grateful and would recommend Caring Transitions without hesitation!

Caring Transitions should be at the top of everyone’s list who is in need of moving/relocating someone. This organization, and specifically the Cuyahoga Branch led by Gary Henry, were top notch from beginning to end. Gary has an AMAZING Team, who executed just as promised: They were well organized, calming, extremely hard-working, friendly, and trustworthy – every single Team Member, and we met several during our process. I hired Caring Transitions to relocate my mother, who was downsizing considerably from a condo where the family has lived for 34 years. We had tons of items collected over 3 decades, and limited space where we were moving. The Team did an absolutely incredible job packing, labeling, moving, unpacking/staging, and staying within budget. We definitely put the Team to the task, and they impressed each day they helped. With me coordinating from out of town, it was essential I found a solution that made the process efficient and effective. Further, I needed to do all I could to make this huge transition as easy as possible on my 82 year old mother. The Caring Transition Team treated her (and my family) with care, patience, and genuine concern for her well-being throughout the process. They truly do care, and are a special group of people. It takes a special Team to execute in the manner they do, and I can’t thank them enough. Hopefully this review will help provide an ongoing “thank you” by swaying anyone on the fence who is reading this, or anyone seeking assistance with an upcoming move of a friend or family member transitioning. Her team is courteous, professional, and you can tell they genuinely care about helping families find the right homes for their possessions during what can be a difficult time. The staging is always clean and easy to navigate—no digging, just well-organized sales that respect both the items and the buyers. Caring Transitions did an amazing job! When I first walked into my late loved one's home, I was overwhelmed. Not only with emotion and grief but also at the job ahead of me which was dealing with the contents of the house cleaning it. It was just me, I lived in another state so, coming back and forth was not an option. My realtor recommended Leigh at Caring Transitions. Leigh was great! She showed up, asked me a few questions then asked for a tour of the house. She walked around, looked in closets, cabinets etc. Then she said "No problem, we can take care of this for you." I thought great and asked, "which part?" She said "You don't have to do anything except for taking the items you want that are sentimental and precious to you." She explained the process which takes two weeks and everything was done in the home; no moving of items to a warehouse like some other auction houses. Leigh had such a comforting and calm demeanor about her; she made me feel like everything was going to be ok. The cost was very reasonable and I felt a huge sense of relief. They were careful and respectful of all the items in the home. After it was all done, they swept the floors and left. I dealt with another estate auction company for a previous loved one after his passing, and it was very expensive. They require I hire movers and move all the items to their warehouse. The auction lasted over a month and they charged separately for every service; donating, appraisals etc. I will never use again or recommend them; mostly because they appraised some items incorrectly which had to be corrected by the probate attorneys and accounting for the court filing. I HIGHLY recommend Leigh and Caring Transitions! Thank you Leigh for helping me through this very difficult process by taking the stress, worry, time etc off my plate. THANK YOU!
