Would definitely recommend Caring Transitions. Mel and her team did a great job packing, moving and unpacking mom into her new apartment. They were punctual, polite and careful with mom’s belongings. They listened to her stories and when they were finished, boxes were unpacked and put away, pictures hung and beds made. Stephanie and her team also did a great job with the clean out. My family just worked with CT to do an online auction for our parents estate items. Our coordinator Melanie made the whole experience very positive during a difficult time. Melanie, Betsy and the others from her team took great care in grouping, photographing and describing the items and had everything ready to go before we listed the house. When the house sold the first weekend, they were well prepared to move into the online auction phase, and while it is hard to let go of treasured family belongings, it was wonderful to see the response from the auction and to know that everything is moving on to new owners. There is limited parking along the street, so CT made sure to have windows scheduled for pickup. All went smoothly and everything was picked up in one day. Melanie was a great communicator and problem solver throughout the process and just an absolute delight to work with. We also appreciated Terry talking us though the option to do an online auction as an in-person one would have been too tough emotionally and logistically.

If you are looking for a moving company that truly leads with kindness, integrity, and compassion, I cannot recommend Caring Transitions in Delray highly enough. My parents (ages 86 and 84) recently made a big life transition, moving out of their condo of 25 years into a new home with an elevator. As you can imagine, this was an emotional and overwhelming process—but this team made it feel manageable and even comforting. Even though this was a relatively small job, from start to finish, they were patient, respectful, and incredibly thoughtful with my parents and their belongings. They treated everything—and everyone—with such care. What truly stood out was the owner’s generosity and character. After completing the move, he declined payment for himself and simply asked that we pay his hardworking team member (Ramone). That level of honesty and kindness is rare. It’s not just a moving company—it’s a company run by genuinely good people who understand that they’re not just moving boxes, they’re helping families through important life moments. We are beyond grateful and would recommend Caring Transitions without hesitation!

Caring Transitions should be at the top of everyone’s list who is in need of moving/relocating someone. This organization, and specifically the Cuyahoga Branch led by Gary Henry, were top notch from beginning to end. Gary has an AMAZING Team, who executed just as promised: They were well organized, calming, extremely hard-working, friendly, and trustworthy – every single Team Member, and we met several during our process. I hired Caring Transitions to relocate my mother, who was downsizing considerably from a condo where the family has lived for 34 years. We had tons of items collected over 3 decades, and limited space where we were moving. The Team did an absolutely incredible job packing, labeling, moving, unpacking/staging, and staying within budget. We definitely put the Team to the task, and they impressed each day they helped. With me coordinating from out of town, it was essential I found a solution that made the process efficient and effective. Further, I needed to do all I could to make this huge transition as easy as possible on my 82 year old mother. The Caring Transition Team treated her (and my family) with care, patience, and genuine concern for her well-being throughout the process. They truly do care, and are a special group of people. It takes a special Team to execute in the manner they do, and I can’t thank them enough.
