I lost my uncle two years ago. He was 87 years old and he lost his wife three years earlier. They had no children and he left me as the Executor of his estate. He was a collector!! My brother and I spent a year cleaning out his house of 60 years respecting his wishes that "everything doesn't go in a dumpster"! We cleaned, recycled, donated etc.. As we reached the last two miles of a marathon we reached out to Caring Transitions. Deena Cherenza and her team were amazing!! Deena was so kind and caring!! She understood and respected how we were trying to adhere to my uncles wishes. She and her team organized and cleared big furniture items and brought them to donation sights. Our biggest challenges were cleaning out his full basement and overgrown and cluttered backyard. She had a sale to clear out the basement items and arranged for a landscaping company to handle the backyard. Deena also arranged for a productive online auction for different items in the house. Things went very smoothly. I had not been looking forward to the move and all the work needed. But caring transitions came in and just took over and things went very smoothly. From the start to the finish. We were very happy with them.

I can't fully extend my gratitude and appreciation to Ron and CC for the work that they and their team did for my family but I'll try. At an incredibly difficult time; my mother having passed away a few weeks before and my father in the hospital, I was overwhelmed and struggling to know what to do. They met me at the home, laid out the plan, stuck to their word and worked (in unfortunate conditions) to get the house ready for the next steps. Every piece of the process was fully explained in a way that I could understand and, most importantly, they delivered on every count. They are truly compassionate, patient and beyond helpful. To have their aid at such a hard time made such a difference and I can't thank them enough.
