Several years ago I hired Caring Transitions of Winston Salem, NC to preform an in-house move for my mother from one level of care to assisted living care at her retirement facility. The move went without a hitch. Arriving on time and expeditiously handling the move. Everything went according to plan. In August of 2026 I again employed Caring Transitions to move my mother’s apartment from Winston Salem to Ponte Vedra, Fl. Everything went just as planned and the scheduling was perfect. The furnishings were picked up the day my mother left for her flight to Florida and everything arrived the next morning at 9:00 AM in great condition. I highly recommend Caring Transitions. Julie Bileyu and her staff could not have been more professional. Give them a call. You won’t regret it.

Caring Transitions Is an excellent way to empty your house if you’re moving! That’s what we did. Kristin Goodroad, the owner, Is a tremendously hard worker and made sure the house was empty completely when it was supposed to be. She was always prompt and on time for meetings or meet-ups. She earned us a great profit! She had a plan, followed that and everything ran so smoothly. I would work with her again in a heartbeat. I recommend her and her business of Caring Transitions highly.

On behalf of my 92 year old mother, Bernadette, I would like to say how wonderful it was to have professional assistance for planning/moving her . . .from her home in York to an independent/assisted living facility in Carlisle! Everyone was so professional, kind, caring and had an understanding of how difficult it was for my mother to part with some treasures that she gathered in the home she lived in for almost 40 years! From beginning to end, they helped plan what would fit into the new apartment, helped with packing, moving and unpacking so that the new apartment had some semblance of home! Jennifer at Caring Transitions is a miracle worker and a lifesaver!! I needed to move my aging mother closer to me, out of state. I had been dreading this move for years given the number of things my mother had and her emotional attachment to them. She had an enormous house that was packed with things. Jennifer and her amazing team helped my mom sort through things, pack, and sell the many, many things that couldn’t come with my mom on the move through in person and online Estate Sales. They even helped coordinate moving day! They were amazingly patient and sensitive to the emotional aspects of downsizing, while at the same time being super efficient, organized and professional. They even do a final clean out of the house after the estate sale. I cannot say enough, good things about their team, and I highly recommend them!
