For several years now, I have been taking notice of the high number of estate auctions that the folks at Caring Transitions have been promoting on line. So, late this summer, I finally decided to contact Caring Transitions about my own accumulation of "stuff," which has been piling up over many decades. Though I am a senior citizen, I am not yet moving from my San Francisco home of forty-six years. Rather, I have undertaken a radical purge of my personal effects, which has been truly liberating--almost like a new start in my existing (and now uncluttered) residence. After giving away massive amounts of clothes and various household items, I still was left with a myriad of items such as china, crystal, collectibles and artwork. Many of these items had value, but it was most important to me that these items go to people who would truly enjoy them The money I received from the auction was of secondary importance--though it was a welcome bonus. The best part of the whole experience is that Caring Transitions did the work required to set up, promote, and run an auction, which is a considerable undertaking. It has been a true pleasure to be assisted by Hanna Bivens of Caring Transitions in all of this. She is reliable, easy to contact, and thoroughly capable. Additionally, she is professional but also friendly, with lots of positive energy. Thank you, Hanna.

Michael Strouse and his team at Caring Transitions in Newtown, PA, literally saved us during an incredibly sad, overwhelming and trying time. My mom, who has since passed away, had accumulated a tremendous amount of belongings, and it was simply too much for my sister and me to handle on our own. We were at a complete loss. I found Caring Transitions online, called and met with Michael a few days later. He came to my mom’s house when she was already quite ill and immediately put our minds at ease. His energy, kindness and professionalism were exactly what we needed to get through the process of cleaning out the entire house, organizing an auction, donating worthwhile items and preparing the house to go on the market. Every step of the way was handled with care, and the entire team was pleasant, respectful and truly wonderful. I don’t think I’ve ever written a Google review, but this was a must for me. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely Amazing — A True Lifesaver During Our Most Difficult Time! I cannot say enough wonderful things about Caring Transitions of Boynton Beach and Delray Beach. They were truly a blessing to our family during one of the most difficult and heartbreaking times in our lives. We were in the process of selling my father-in-law’s home in Florida when my husband became seriously ill and sadly passed away. Since we live in New Jersey, we were unable to return to Florida to finish cleaning out the house. We were overwhelmed, grieving, and facing a situation that felt almost impossible to manage from so far away. Caring Transitions came to our rescue! In an incredibly short amount of time, they took care of everything with professionalism, compassion, and genuine care. They cleared the entire house, making what seemed like an insurmountable task feel manageable. They even videotaped the contents of the home so my brother-in-law and I could tell them what we wanted to keep. They then carefully arranged to have those belongings shipped to New Jersey. On top of everything else, they helped us by storing my father-in-law’s car. What impressed me most was not just how efficiently they handled everything, but how understanding, accommodating, and wonderful they were to work with during such an emotional time. They understood our circumstances and went above and beyond to make a very difficult situation easier for our family. Caring Transitions was truly a lifesaver when we needed one most. An Extraordinary Experience That Exceeded Every Expectation! I rarely write reviews, but I have genuinely been looking forward to writing this one. My experience with Caring Transitions was nothing short of extraordinary, and five stars hardly seem sufficient. My 88-year-old mother lived in North Palm Beach with her husband, who sadly passed away. I was responsible for moving her closer to me in the Atlanta area and clearing out the three-bedroom rental condo they had lived in for more than ten years. To say this was an overwhelming task would be an understatement. The condo was filled with years of accumulated belongings, and a significant amount of furniture. I had to return to Atlanta, and the lease was expiring in just TEN DAYS. I needed help, and I needed it fast. That's when I found Caring Transitions. Choosing them turned out to be one of the best decisions I could possibly have made. From my first conversations with Kendall, I knew I was dealing with someone special. She immediately understood the situation, helped develop a game plan, and took charge with a level of professionalism, compassion, and confidence that was remarkable. I had been on the fence about shipping furniture to my mother's new apartment in Atlanta, but Kendall made that decision easy. Together, we identified the pieces to move, including delicate mirrored furniture, paintings, and antiques. These were not items that could simply be thrown into a moving truck. Kendall's team, especially Natalya and Craig, was absolutely phenomenal. They never missed a beat. When the furniture and belongings arrived in Atlanta, I was honestly in awe. Not a single item was damaged in the slightest. The quality of packing, attention to detail, and level of care exceeded anything I have ever experienced with professional movers. And I've seen plenty. Meanwhile, the team handled everything at the condo. They cleared it completely, sold what could be sold, donated what could be donated, and responsibly disposed of the rest. They left the entire property in immaculate, ready-to-return condition. The above and beyond is that Kendall didn't simply manage a project. She looked out for me and my mother. She understood the emotional, logistical, and practical challenges that families face in these situations. She anticipated problems before they became problems, steered me away from potential mistakes, and offered thoughtful guidance based on what she knew would be best for my mother and our circumstances. I never felt like just another customer. I felt like I had someone genuinely in my corner, protecting our interests and making an incredibly stressful situation manageable. And then there was the building itself. The condo had extremely difficult rules, restrictions, and logistical obstacles. Somehow, Kendall and her team navigated every one of them, again, without missing a beat. In fact, the building's facilities manager told me they were among the very best teams he had ever worked with and that they would be welcome back anytime. That says a tremendous amount about their professionalism. One final observation: We've all dealt with companies that make a great first impression, only to have the other shoe drop somewhere along the way. Something goes wrong, promises aren't kept, or the experience deteriorates toward the end. With Caring Transitions, the other shoe never dropped. Our entire engagement is now complete, every detail has been handled, and I can say without hesitation that the experience was exceptional from the first conversation to the very last interaction. If you find yourself facing the daunting responsibility of relocating an elderly parent, clearing out a longtime home, or managing an estate from out of town, I cannot recommend this team highly enough. They didn't just meet my expectations. They exceeded expectations I didn't even know I should have. They made an extraordinarily difficult situation so much easier, and I will always be grateful.
