We actually went twice simply because this is one of the few places in downtown Minneapolis that doesn't close at 9. The kitchen, unfortunately, *does* close at 9, but at least you won't be hustled out the door. This is a pretty standard multiple-big-TV American sports bar with a side of brewpub - you won't find the beer offerings on the website, but will find them on the menu...and a chalkboard. (If you drink cider, try Wild State, they're fantastic). Some of the offerings are a little...odd. Good place to get walleye if you're in the mood to try it. (We didn't try the burgers, but it does seem like a burger place). The chicken pot pie is excellent. The steak bites are, apparently, a little disappointing. The totchos are, apparently, very good (I didn't manage to snag one). And you can get half decent cheese curds. Atmosphere and service is, again, typical American sports bar. Solid, but nothing to write home about. It's a good place to go if you're trying to find food at 8:30pm in Minneapolis or just want...a typical American sports bar.

I had the lobster melt. Basically langostini in a grilled cheese. Nothing popped, no flavor as the cheese overwhelmed everything. My fault for ordering seafood in the Midwest. Those in my party who ordered burgers really liked them. Beer was cold. Fries were great.
