Apparently Neuman contracted another company to repair my gutters and spouts from Hurricane Ian. I had an appointment scheduled for 5 May 23 and no one showed up to do the work, not 1 time but 2 times. So I called the company that Neuman contracted and they said that Neuman construction took them off the contract and hired someone else. I have no idea who I am supposed to call to find out who is doing my work! Very frustrated with Neuman Construction right now. I guess I will call my insurance company and let them know you didn't finish your work assigned. What is going on? So here it is Aug 23 they finally showed up almost 1 year later. I wasn't out there the entire time and this is the way they left it. The contractor said he will be back to replace the white spouting, not this week but after that. Now 4 months later, still not finished. I called Neumann Construction at least 8 times just for them to come out and do the work. This is just Pityful. This contract was directed by the insurance company and paid in full prior to the work. How do I know this? Because I saw the check they deposited for over $29K to include the roof, gutters, and spouting. I would suggest NOT using this company at all. And not let them install anything on your house unless you approve it!

If your insurance company selects Neumann, set your expectation that they will collude with insurance and not provide an honest estimate of your damage. Florida Insurance Guaranty Association (FIGA) sent out an estimator. He was a really nice and knowledgeable guy. I showed him our extensive damage and he agreed that it was all storm-related as there are obvious cracks in our structure. He said that he was writing up the roof, the siding, the sagging beams, sagging second story, and literally said "We'll probably need to tear down to the studs". I didn't hear anything from them for 6 weeks, which was a red flag. I just heard back yesterday that they only found $2000 worth of damage!!! What this means is that their estimator either lied to my face, or his management and/or FIGA's management did not like his six-figure estimate. Either way, this is awful and demonstrates that Neumann is a corrupt business that colludes with the insurance company. I have a detailed 138-page mold assessment showing damage from wind-driven water, so I can prove that my house has far greater than "$2000" of damage. My house is literally unlivable (falls under "loss of use") at this point due to water damage and mold, so I can't wait to sue FIGA. Our family of 6 is now living in an RV on the property, but sure, there is only $2000 worth of damage so let me get right to it. Maybe we should have the estimator take the stand as I may have it on my ring camera of him agreeing with me regarding the damage. I've also reached out to the Governor for assistance as this is obvious corruption at very high levels. Really shameful for a veteran-owned business.
