I had a good experience buying a new digital piano at main street music. they took some guitars in trade and gave me a fair price. the unit is quality and the price was fair. i would absolutely go back again in the future.
The staff here is abhorrent. i'm extremely disappointed in the level of customer service offered. main street music is the sole music store in the city of waltham. many, including myself, have experienced a hostile welcome from personnel on staff being only one person. peter. i'm not sure if he's treating customers who look different, differently, but in my experience he's been quick to push me out of the store and confrontational to the point where i'm physically uncomfortable. i always like to support local businesses in waltham especially music as it's been a huge part of my life but it shouldn't matter what i look like, what i sound like, or my credentials. if you have any self decency, you'd be better off going to guitar center. for the grand pianos and baby grands you can go to m. steinert & sons in newton. i believe peter is the main accomplice in this bad customer service, the disrespectful and unwelcoming atmosphere the store creates.
Never miss a chance to support my local musical instrument and instrument care experts.
I had a great experience at this music store, the person working there named joey was very knowledgeable about the guitar models they had on stock and helped me find the perfect guitar.
